Earthen Gutters for Greenhouse Alleyways
Before: Gaps under baseboards and water running and soaking into greenhouse beds
After: Water diverted to center of alleyway and down to the end of the tunnel.
Drainage is such an important part of any property. This can become very clear after a major rain storm comes through and washes out driveways and fills basements with water. These hoop houses needed some help getting the water that runs off, out and away from them. This was done by creating a slope away from each tunnel while also starting high in the center and sloping out to the ends. The last picture shows everything raked out after filling and packing in the soil. Call us if you have a similar project.
