  • Our small mini excavator is able to move in ways that a skid steer can not allowing us to put dirt right where we want it without damaging surrounding trees or buildings.

    • Truck & Trailer for transporting mini to your job site

    • We also work with rental equipment & subcontractors for larger scale jobs that require bigger rigs or dumptruck.

    The terrain in our region is not know for its ample flat ground and so buying a prebuilt outbuilding is not always an option.

Woodlot Services

  • Having a firewood system that works for your needs is important if you are heating your home with wood.

    Whether you prioritize convenience, aesthetics, efficiency, or budget, we can talk you through the options to build a system that works best for you.

    What we do:

    • Select and fell suitable trees from your woodlot

    • Process the wood and store in a dry place for proper curing

    • Beautiful, custom built firewood shed complete with wood splitting area.

    • Josh will even teach you how to start, and maintain an efficient fire in your woodstove if you are new to country living.

  • While our area has plenty of people selling firewood, sometimes its nice to utilize the resources on your own property.

    We can help you cleanup downed trees or select trees for removal and process them into usable firewood for the next season.

  • Need help taking down a tree?

    We can put those trees right where you want them using specialized cutting and roping techniques.

    While we don’t currently offer tree climbing services, if there is a reasonable place to drop the tree we can put it there.

    We don’t take on jobs that are not within our abilities or insurance and will refer you to another company if need be.

    Safety to health and home are our utmost concern when dealing dangerous tree felling situations.

Our Company

About Joshua

Joshua brings skill, experience and excitement to your project. He has worked in construction, doing carpentry, machine work, fine furniture and farm buildings for many years. He loves tackling projects with creativity and efficiency, and geeks out over finding the right tool for the job (and often fabricating them!)

When he is not working he loves mountain biking, welding, the outdoors, spending time with his wife and young daughter, and improving his land with building and earthmoving projects around his 8 acre farmstead.

Over the years he has built a custom home, a garage, a shed, several greenhouses and deer fencing, installed a pond, driveway, drainage ditches, irrigation, and of course- mountain bike trails with jumps in the woods

Josh loves to see how completing a new project allows for his family (and his clients) to utilize and enjoy more of their land to the fullest.

  • We are Licensed as a Class C residential home builder. This encompasses most projects for your property needs for projects up to $30,000 in value. We don’t offer plumbing or electrical installations unless we need to subcontract that work out.
